Choir

IMG_1843The St. James’ choir provides the music ministry during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Services from September through June each year and at every special feast day throughout the year.

The choir is made up of a cross-section of Parishioners whose common purpose is to provide “a joyful sound” during the liturgy. Typically about 10 members participate in each Service.

Our Organist and Choir Director selects a wide variety of both traditional and modern music, perhaps emphasizing a more “upbeat” range of music than is normally offered in Anglican Churches. One clear fact is evident in the Choir’s performances is the pure enjoyment they feel in singing.

The Choir welcomes anyone wishing to join in singing. Practices are normally held each Thursday evening at 7:15 and there is a warm up on Sunday morning at 10:00am lead by our Choir Director Dorine Fowke.
