Baptisms

We would be so happy to be a part of bringing your child into the family of God.  Baptism is a vital part of a believer's life.  If you are considering Baptism for yourself or your child please contact the Incumbent, who will be pleased to meet with you to discuss your preparation.

“Baptism is the sign of new life in Christ.”  Baptism unites Christ with his people in a union that is both individual and corporate.  Christians are baptized one by one, but to be a Christian is to be part of a new creation which rises from the dark waters of Christ’s death into the dawn of his risen life. Christians are not just baptized individuals; they are a new humanity.

Baptismal Preparation

Baptism has many cultural ideas surrounding it and some of these ideas do not represent what the Church actually believes.  Since Baptism is such an important step in a believer's life, we like to take the time to make sure that you understand what Baptism means and why Jesus called us to it.

During this preparation time you will engage in a Christianity 101 Course in discussion with the Incumbent.  This may be done either in person or from the comfort of your own home!
